Jake Zwart is a mechanical engineer and executive director of the Ontario Christian Home Educators Connection (OCHEC). He has over 40 years of experience homeschooling his four children. Jake Zwart holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and runs a company providing vibration testing and analysis services to heavy industry. He became interested in homeschooling after attending a conference 40 years ago, and went on to homeschool all four of his sons through high school. Zwart is now the executive director of the Ontario Christian Home Educators Connection (OCHEC), which promotes homeschooling and organizes an annual convention attended by hundreds of families. He is passionate about empowering parents to take charge of their children’s education and fostering strong family relationships through homeschooling.
