Kyrianna Reimer describes her experience opposing the COVID vaccine while attending college as a nursing student, and her experience being quarantined and fined when she refused to be tested for the virus when returning to Canada from Costa Rica. Kyrianna reveals hospital capacity reality while working in the hospital, “we were told that it was full capacity. In the wards where I was, a third to a half of the rooms had one bed removed. Usually it’s a double capacity room, so you’d have two beds within each room. And we had stacks of beds in the back where there had been one removed from the rooms.”

Colin Murphy’s business was active countrywide and required months of preparation and planning to stage big sporting and music events. When the COVID shutdowns happened, inspite of the government providing 75% of the wages, Colin said, “if you have no revenue, you can’t cover anything.” Staff disappeared while the company shut down and people stopped talking to each other. Colin said, “they don’t share the stories in one unit, one big group. And because they don’t share in one big group, they can’t connect the dots.”

Shelley Overwater has a varied testimony as her family was impacted in many ways during the pandemic. A practising and vaccinated lawyer, Shelley's very healthy father died suddenly, her daughter was vaccine injured and Shelley experienced chest pains that led to a bad hospital experience. Seeing the unjust mandates and fines imposed on people Shelley is representing many that have been given violations. In summation Shelley said, "I've never been so ashamed of this country as when I saw them in Ottawa bludgeoning working people, like normal, everyday taxpayers. I'll never forget it".

Mr. Hill gave a presentation on the impact of COVID on the aviation industry. He described the health standards and the incredible safety focus of airlines pre-COVID from a historical perspective, which culminated in the industry’s Safety Management System (SMS). He gave a high-level overview of that system and the attendant safety philosophy and regulations. Everything from over the counter cold medication to statements on Transport Canada’s website that read, for decades, “medical trials are not compatible with aviation certification”.

Mr. Paquin runs an “all Canadian wine business” in Japan, and was there when COVID hit. His business endured logistics problems due to disruption in shipping, supply chains, increased cost and inflation measures. The Canadian COVID measures restricting travel robbed him from seeing family and friends since 2019.
