She became the Alberta Director of the Children’s Health Defense organization and her job involved much public speaking around the country. Colin Murphy’s business was active countrywide and required months of preparation and planning to stage big sporting and music events. When the COVID shutdowns happened, inspite of the government providing 75% of the wages, Colin said, “if you have no revenue, you can’t cover anything.” Staff disappeared while the company shut down and people stopped talking to each other. Colin said, “they don’t share the stories in one unit, one big group. And because they don’t share in one big group, they can’t connect the dots.”

Tracy describes the process of her house being foreclosed, due to lack of work for herself and her husband as a result of COVID lockdowns, and her consequent struggles in finding a new residence, challenges in being able to afford food and insulin, and broken friendships. Dr. Chan gives outstanding testimony of his journey through COVID with various patients and describes the pushback he received after reporting harms from shots. One of Dr. Chan's patients was the 14 year-old boy with a terminal brain tumor, cited by Deena Hinshaw as Alberta's first death from COVID-19 in a young person. This was untrue as determined by the coroner. Dr. Chan reported, "So I followed the advice of the Medical Examiner’s office to leave COVID out of the diagnosis. So then, lo and behold, within a week, his name and his case is announced on the news."

Mr. Baraniski is the owner of a hotel, restaurant, bar, conference facility, cabins and campground in Tobin Lake, Saskatchewan. He contracted covid in March, 2021, and was hospitalized for a month. During his hospitalization, the government forced his son to close down the business for two weeks because of a covid outbreak at the hotel. This resulted in a $50,000 loss of income and forced the layoff of 13 employees.
