Fallon Morell argued that raw milk contains biological components that help control pathogens, support immunity, aid digestion, and improve nutrient absorption, and that pasteurization and ultra-high-temperature processing reduce or damage many of those components. She reviewed historical, animal, and epidemiological studies that she said support health benefits from raw milk, including protection against asthma and allergies, improved mineral utilization, and better tolerance among some people who cannot tolerate pasteurized milk. She also described the Campaign for Real Milk’s work to expand legal access in the United States and argued that direct raw-milk sales can strengthen small farms, consumer choice, and decentralized food systems.
